Client Managers
Simon brings 18 years of experience in Outsourced Solutions and Contract Management to his role at BSS, where he has been a key team member for the past 11 years. He ensures that the needs of key clients are fully understood and met with precision. Simon is also a champion of Health & Safety, staying updated on the latest bulletins and ensuring best practices are implemented across the team.
Mick has extensive experience in Outsourced Solutions and Contract Management, having worked across Europe on large-scale projects. With hands-on expertise as a Crane Driver, Banksman, and Plant Operator, Mick oversees staff coordination, quality control, and large-scale staff deployments. His deep understanding of site operations ensures dynamic projects are managed efficiently nationwide.
Hugh brings 12 years of construction recruitment experience in the UK to his role as Account Manager at BSS. With hands-on experience as a labourer and electrical apprentice, Hugh has a deep understanding of the construction industry from both a recruitment and operational perspective. Outside of work, he is an avid fan of sports, live music, and comedy, bringing energy and enthusiasm to everything he does.
Trades & Labour Recruitment Team
Jack has been a key member of BSS since 2008 and holds a degree in Business & Finance from DCU. As leader of the Trades & Labour outsourcing team, Jack manages site staff and ensures quality candidates are selected and sent to clients. With extensive knowledge of trades and labour skills, he plays a vital role in connecting clients with the best talent.
Marc serves as Team Lead for the Trades & Labour division and is a Senior Recruitment Consultant. A Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Marc oversees the recruitment process, ensuring top-tier candidates meet client needs efficiently and effectively.
Phil joined BSS in 2023 after a successful career as a painting contractor and site foreman specializing in high-end residential projects. He now uses his hands-on industry experience to source and manage Trades & Labour and Warehouse candidates, ensuring they are the right fit for every role.
Professional & Technical Team
Michael focuses on recruiting Civil Engineers, Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Senior Management staff. With more than 10 years of experience in sales and recruitment, he excels at delivering the right candidates for critical roles. Michael holds an MBA from UCD and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. His expertise ensures successful placements for top-level positions.
Sales & Recruitment Support Team
Nigel transitioned to recruitment after a successful career in retail sales, training, and management. With two years’ experience in M&E and Architectural recruitment, he now manages the support staff Trades & Labour sales and recruitment team, ensuring smooth operations and successful hires.
Jessica ensures all candidates have the correct and up-to-date Health and Safety documentation. She manages site requirements and guarantees all necessary paperwork is ready before candidates begin work, supporting smooth operations for clients and staff.
Mariaclara holds a degree in Psychology and a master’s in Human Resources Management. With two years of recruitment experience, she specializes in sourcing and connecting candidates in Trades & Labour and Industrial sectors, matching talent with opportunities.
Leila joined BSS in 2024 as a Recruitment Support Specialist for the Trades & Labour team. She focuses on sourcing talent, conducting interviews, and crafting job specifications to attract skilled candidates, and supporting the sales and recruitment team.
Kirsty is the newest addition to our team, coming from a non-construction recruitment sector, she brings a new look on how to support our Trades & Labour team.
Accounts & Payroll
Tadg is responsible for managing timesheets for candidates working through BSS. He ensures accurate collection of hours from candidates and liaises with clients to get those hours approved efficiently. With his meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, Tadg plays a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations and maintaining client satisfaction.
Mariana oversees payroll processing for all candidates working with BSS, ensuring they are paid accurately and on time every week. Her expertise in payroll systems and compliance ensures smooth and efficient operations, allowing BSS to provide a reliable and seamless payroll experience for both candidates and clients.
Tomasz is a key member of the BSS finance team, specializing in accounts management and financial operations. With extensive experience in accounting, Tomasz ensures accurate financial reporting, oversees client billing, and supports the smooth management of company accounts. His dedication and precision are integral to BSS’s financial success.
Alisha holds an MSc in Finance and is a part qualified in Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and. She provides essential support to the BSS finance team by assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and maintaining financial records. With her strong academic background and keen attention to detail, Alisha ensures the accounts function operates efficiently and effectively.
IT
Colin holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and manages all IT operations at BSS. He ensures the company’s technology infrastructure is secure, efficient, and up-to-date. From implementing software systems to troubleshooting technical issues, Colin plays a critical role in maintaining seamless operations and supporting both the team and clients with reliable IT solutions.
