Role : Shuttering Carpenter

Location: Greystones, County Wicklow

BSS Building Staff Solutions are hiring Shuttering Carpenters in Greystones, County Wicklow

Responsibilities:

• Construct and assemble formwork for beams, columns, slabs, and walls based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials to create formwork.
• Install and align formwork to ensure accurate placement and support for concrete pours.
• Maintain and repair existing formwork as needed.
• Ensure all formwork is properly reinforced and secured.
• Collaborate with concrete workers and other construction professionals to ensure smooth workflow.
• Inspect formwork for defects and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Work in accordance with local building codes and regulations.

Requirements:

• Safe Pass & Manual Handling certificate
• Proven Previous experience as a shuttering carpenter
