Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate level)
Location: Westport, Mayo
Salary €55K – €65K DOE
An opportunity has now arisen for an Intermediate Level Quantity Surveyor to join our client, an established Main Contractor working Westport on a Hotel Project.
You will be reporting to a Senior QS on this Project.
You would need to have circa 5 years QS experience in the Irish market for this role and have a third level construction qualification.
What you will be doing:
- Procuring Subcontractors & Suppliers
- Compiling and Issuing Sub Contracts
- Commercial management of Sub Contractors and Suppliers
- Negotiating and agreeing Sub Contractor final accounts
- Responsibility for agreeing monthly valuations with the Clients representative
- Cost reporting & projecting
- Involvement in preparation of monthly project Payment Claims
- Involvement in internal monthly project Commercial Reports
- Monitoring all ongoing commercial aspects during the course of the project
