Position: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Dublin / Nationwide

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our client, a leading fit-out and construction contractor.
The successful candidate will operate independently while working closely with our service team to deliver planned and reactive maintenance to the retail sector.
Duties / Responsibilities:
• General Lighting Testing and Repairs
• Emergency Lighting Testing & Repairs
• Portable Appliance Testing & Certification
• Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance routines on electrical systems
• Support building utilities equipment including both electrical and mechanical
• Conduct other non-electrical works when required
• Supervise the service team and contractors
• Work closely with the service team to enhance and develop the overall service delivery
Essential Requirements:
• Electrical Trades or Third Level Electrical Qualification
• Minimum 3 years experience (post apprenticeship) in a service and maintenance role
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt
• Ability to work independently and as part of the service team
• Excellent communication skills
• Full Clean Driving License
• Safepass
• Fluent English
• Must be in Ireland, eligible to work and available to start in the coming weeks.
Desirable:
• Experience of a similar customer-facing role in a retail environment
• MEWP certificate
• Experience of maintenance management system on phone/tablet/PC
• Experience supervising minor building works, lighting and HVAC installations
