Our client is a registered Approved Housing Body with the Approved Housing Body Regulatory Authority (AHBRA), a registered charity with the Charities Regulator, and a Certified Body with the Housing Finance Agency. They are governed by a Board of Trustees and signed up to the Charities Regulator Governance Code and the AHBRA Standards. The charity has always been directed by a volunteer Board and a small team of staff, together with some volunteer assistance.
Job Description
Summary of the Position
As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Asset & Property Services Manager will be responsible for
- Managing and leading the Property & Asset Function of the organisation, with line management responsibility for the Building & Facilities Officer and any future posts that may be introduced as the organisation grows.
- Overseeing the implementation of Clients Asset Management Strategy
- Appoint and oversee contractors in the provision of Clients responsive repairs service, cyclical and planned maintenance, with responsibility for the effective day-to-day management and delivery of asset management for all Client assets which include housing, communal and landlord spaces.
- Providing a high-level oversight to the Operations Manager and other members of the Senior Management Team on matters relating to asset management. This is particularly important in the areas of statutory and regulatory compliance and also in regard to financial planning & reporting.
- Providing property technical advice across the organisation.
You will demonstrate strong leadership in the delivery of asset management services to ensure that the client can continue to provide sustainable quality homes to their Tenants and ensure adherence to established Vision, Mission and Values.
